No Aging Here!
As everyone should know by now the best way to slow the aging process is with a proper diet and exercise. While a healthy diet is of course the best thing to do it does not mean that it has to be followed one hundred percent of the time. You can eat anything you choose as long as you can be sensible about it. There is no secret pill or fountain of youth. As we age we do need to change a few things though, take different vitamins and minerals possibly because our metabolism changes.
Why this desperation to stop the aging process? Why is everyone so afraid of getting older? The next step after aging is death; this is likely why everyone is afraid of aging. However, aging is the natural progression of things. Some things do improve with age however, vocabulary increases, interpersonal relationships, and overall personal well-being also improves with age. The old have a lot to teach the young. There are cultures that understand that, that respect their elderly and know that they can learn from them. However, more and more the elderly are ignored and tucked away somewhere out of the way. Did this create the ultimate fear of growing older?
Some studies have shown that fewer calories made rodents more stress resistant. Stress is a significant factor in aging a person. The old adage "laughter is the best medicine" has a lot of truth to it. The truth is that those that enjoy life live longer, those that enjoy life, laugh. There are all kinds of anti-aging creams, ointments, solutions, etc. on the market that promise to make you look younger or to keep you from looking older. Some remove old skin, prevent stretch marks, remove hair, brighten or lighten your skin, and prevent your skin from wrinkling. One of the best things that a person can do to help the aging of your skin is to use sun screen. The sun does a great deal of damage to your skin. It removes the natural moisture from it. The most serious damage that can happen of course is skin cancer but it can also cause your skin to be actually leather-like when you are older.
It is important to try to not stress over small things. You need to relax and enjoy life as much as possible. Stressing about things not only causes premature aging but can also cause other health issues such as heart problems, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, headaches, and other health issues as well. The signs of stress can be seen as quickly as overnight so a lifetime of stress can do an unpredictable amount of damage. That is why it is essential for everyone to learn how to handle stress in a healthy manner.
No one has been able to stop aging; no one will probably ever be able to stop aging completely. If everyone lived forever, over population may become an even greater problem than it all ready is. Just something to think about.
